Accounts Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: c£30,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a highly organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team, initially on a temporary basis, with potential for permanency for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth running of financial operations within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately while helping the team meet key performance targets.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will:
*Post all bank accounts into NetSuite and ensure reconciliation with bank records.
*Raise sales invoices and identify any discrepancies within sales orders.
*Proactively chase outstanding payments and work closely with customer accounts payable teams to resolve queries.
*Process purchase invoices and ensure purchase orders match invoices accurately.
*Process web orders.
*Monitor and respond to queries within the finance inbox.
*Provide general support to the finance department as required.
*Raise weekly consolidated sales invoices.
*Administer PayPal transactions.
*Assist with supplier payment administration.
*Raise monthly consolidated sales invoices.
*Support the finance team with month-end processes and ensure deadlines are met.
*Administer company Mastercard transactions.
Key Skills & Experience required:
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role preferred.
*Familiarity with accounting systems (such as NetSuite) would be advantageous.
*Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
*Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
