Are you A qualified Technical Financial Accountant looking for a new challenge?
My client is looking to hire a technical Financial Accountant for a 12-14 month FTC starting ASAP.
*The role will be responsible for the preparation and review of complex accounting areas such as lease accounting (IFRS 16), new leases and lease amendments, lease impairment reviews, and lease (and other asset) valuations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
*The role will also be responsible for overseeing the technical accuracy and compliance of key matters within the statutory financial statements and regulatory returns.
*You will support on all technical queries in the Accounting papers and be the technical accounting expert on major projects and programmes.
Profile
A successful Technical Financial Accountant (Leases) should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
*Experience in lease accounting within the public sector or a similar environment.
*Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary paying up to £66,000.
