Job Title: Band 7 Children’s Physiotherapist

Job Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Children’s Physiotherapist to join a dedicated paediatric service in Milton Keynes on an ongoing locum basis. This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact within paediatric and neurodisability services while benefiting from flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a neurodisability caseload for children and young people aged 0–19 years, including work on the paediatric ward
*Assess, plan and deliver specialised physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs
*Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, child-centred care
*Provide education, guidance and support to families and carers to promote ongoing rehabilitation at home
*Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
*Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional standards
Person Specification
Essential
*HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
*Experience working within paediatric physiotherapy services
*Knowledge of neurodisability assessment and treatment approaches
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Desirable
*Previous NHS experience at Band 7 level
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Milton Keynes area
