We are seeking a dedicated School Teacher to join our dynamic team in the Greenwich area. This role involves leading the classroom, working closely with children, supporting teaching assistants, and contributing to a supportive learning environment tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead the classroom, ensuring all lessons are inclusive and cater to the needs of SEN students.
*Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and provide specialized 1:1 support to students with specific educational needs.
*Develop and implement engaging educational strategies that enhance learning outcomes for SEN students.
*Monitor and assess the progress of students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
*Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on special educational needs.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom activities and engage students effectively.
*Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with other staff members and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
*A relevant educational qualification, with specific training in special needs education highly regarded.
*Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to supporting the educational and emotional needs of SEN students.
