Civil Engineering / Design, Planning & Surveying TutorLocation: Openshaw Campus
Contract: Full-time
Pay Rate:£35+ per hour (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Civil Engineering professional with a passion for developing the next generation of industry talent? Our Openshaw campus is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering / Design, Planning and Surveying Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to T Level learners within a thriving Further Education environment.
About the RoleWe are looking for a tutor who can deliver engaging and industry-relevant sessions across Civil Engineering, Design, Planning and Surveying, supporting learners working towards their T Level qualification. You’ll bring your sector expertise into the classroom, helping students gain the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in modern construction and engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for T Level learners in:
*Civil Engineering
*Design, Planning & Surveying
*Develop lesson plans and learning materials aligned with T Level specifications
*Support learners with their practical and technical development
*Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain records
*Contribute to curriculum development and continuous course improvement
*Ensure compliance with FE sector standards and safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements*Industry background in Civil Engineering, Construction Design, Surveying, or related discipline
*Experience teaching or training within Further Education
*Strong understanding of T Level Construction (Design, Surveying & Planning) curriculum
*Relevant technical qualifications in Civil Engineering or related area
*Ability to inspire, motivate and support learners of different abilities
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable*Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, AET/DET) — or willingness to work towards
*Experience delivering practical sessions or workshops
*Prior involvement with T Level delivery in FE settings
