Job Description:
*14.5 hours per week (Monday and Wednesday)
A well-established and friendly business based near Hedge End is looking to recruit a Part Time Sales Administrator to support their busy team. This position would suit someone with previous sales administration experience, strong organisational skills and good knowledge of Sage Line 50.
This is a varied role where attention to detail and the ability to manage orders accurately are key. You will be responsible for supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to dispatch, helping to ensure customers receive a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities*Processing customer sales orders accurately using Sage Line 50
*Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
*Preparing and monitoring customer quotations
*Confirming delivery schedules and arranging transport where required
*Producing proforma invoices and assisting with ordering consumables
*Maintaining accurate customer and order records within the system
*Supporting reporting and data tasks using Excel
*Providing general administrative support to the wider team
*Occasionally assisting with packing goods when required
About You*Previous experience within a Sales Administration or similar role
*Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 (essential or highly desirable)
*Experience managing sales orders from enquiry through to completion
*Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
*Flexible approach and willingness to assist where needed
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or product-based environment would be beneficial, particularly if you are familiar with part numbers or Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Additional Information*14.5 hours per week (Monday and Wednesday)
*Flexibility required to provide occasional holiday cover
