Job Description:
A well-established children’s nursery in Hendon is seeking a passionate and qualified Nursery Teacher / Early Years Teacher to join their experienced early years team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QTS or EYTS qualified teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to make a real impact in a supportive and well-resourced nursery environment.
The nursery offers a large, thriving setting where children are encouraged to learn through play, develop independence, and build strong foundations for their future learning.
The Role – Nursery Teacher / Early Years Teacher
As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care, supporting children’s development through engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
You will work closely with colleagues and parents to create a positive learning environment that supports every child’s individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
*Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
*Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
*Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues
*Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the nursery team
*Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
*Monitor and support children’s progress and development
Requirements
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status) – required
*Experience working in an early years or nursery setting
*Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
*Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
*Passion for early years education and childcare
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
