The Role We’re looking for an experienced AAT-qualified Accountant to take on a broad and interesting position within the finance team. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on ownership, accuracy, and getting stuck into everything from month-end reporting to import financials.

Key Responsibilities You’ll be hands-on with a wide range of duties, including:
*Month-end reporting and producing first-draft management accounts
*Accounts payable & receivable
*Managing the financial aspects of imports (Far East & EU)
*Ensuring VAT and Duty are correctly accounted for
*Supplier payments
*Cash receipts and cashflow
*General ledger maintenance
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Revenue & expenditure variance analysis
*Account reconciliations
*Fixed asset activity
*Debt activity
*Ad-hoc finance tasks
*Conducting credit checks on new customers
*Team management and supporting continuous process improvement
*Liaising with operations as needed
What We’re Looking For *AAT-qualified (completed)
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in a busy finance department
*Excellent computer and communication skills
*Strong organisational ability and impeccable attention to detail
*Confident working under pressure and managing deadlines
*Experience in team management
*Understanding of import/export finance processes (Far East & EU)
*Able to work independently and collaboratively

This is an office-based position.
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
