Job Description:
As the People Lead, you’ll act as a trusted strategic partner to the business, sit on the site Senior Leadership Team, and lead a dedicated people team to drive a strong, people-focused culture.

As People Lead, you will be a trusted strategic partner to the business, working closely with leaders to shape culture, strengthen engagement and deliver a great colleague experience.
You’ll lead the site’s people agenda, using data and insight to guide decisions and enable high-performing teams. A key part of the role will be ensuring strong people foundations and effective ways of working that support the business now and in the future. Reporting to the UK Head of People, you will lead a team of eight.
Key Responsibilities :
*Lead People plans that support the organisations Purpose, Culture and Values.
*Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and managers.
*Use People data to guide decisions and improve performance.
*Support leadership teams through change, growth and organisational development.
*Champion a great colleague experience - focusing on engagement, wellbeing and inclusion.
*Lead key People processes such as pay reviews, talent, succession and performance.
*Support managers with challenging People issues, giving clear, calm guidance.
*Promote values-led behaviour and help build strong leaders and high-performing teams.
*Work closely with the wider People community to deliver group-wide initiatives.
*Represent the People Team in senior meetings and help influence key business decisions.
Profile
A successful People Lead should:
*Ideally be CIPD Level 7 or equivalent.
*Have proven experience at Senior HR Leadership level.
*Ideally have previous experience working within the Manufacturing/FMCG industry or similar.
*Strong knowledge of employment laws, policies, and best practices.
*Ability to develop and implement HR strategies effectively.
*Strong analytical skills to interpret HR data and trends.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Capability to work collaboratively with leadership teams.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based on-site in Callington, offering a highly competitive salary, car allowance and excellent benefits.
