Reception Teacher Required for School in Reading
About the role:
At Engage Education, we are currently looking for an ambitious and compassionate Reception Teacher for a fantastic primary school in Reading. This role is within the school’s Reception SEN nurture class, supporting a small group of vulnerable pupils in a highly supportive environment.
The class has around 7 children and benefits from the support of two dedicated Teaching Assistants, allowing staff to provide focused, nurturing support tailored to each child’s needs.
The school is Ofsted rated ’Good’ and has developed a positive, inclusive culture where both staff and pupils are supported to succeed. The leadership team has built an enthusiastic and collaborative staff community, with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and development.

The ideal candidate has:
*Full QTS
*Experience planning and delivering engaging Reception or EYFS lessons
*Confidence in adapting learning to support children with additional needs
*Strong behaviour management and nurturing classroom practice
*The ability to respond flexibly to pupils’ emotional and learning needs
*A collaborative approach to working with support staff and SEN professionals
