Barista / General Assistant
Location: Newbury
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday (7:30am – 4pm)
Houston & Hawkes are looking for an enthusiastic Barista / General Assistant to join our team at our Newbury corporate site. This is a varied all-rounder role combining excellent coffee service with front-of-house support and occasional kitchen assistance.
Duties:
*Preparing and serving high-quality coffees and beverages
*Serving customers and providing a friendly, professional service
*Supporting the grab-and-go and counter service
*Assisting with light kitchen tasks and washing up when required
*Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of service areas
Requirements:
*Previous barista or café experience preferred
*Strong customer service skills
*Positive attitude and team-focused approach
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
