Job Description:
Job Title: Service Administrator – Temp Maternity Cover
Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 6–12 months (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive Service Administrator to join a busy service team on a temporary maternity cover basis. You will be the main point of contact for customers, managing service requests and liaising with field teams and subcontractors to keep operations running smoothly.
The client is a well-established company with a supportive, professional team, where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are highly valued. You will gain experience working in a structured environment with clear processes and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the service department.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage service desk queries via phone and email.
*Record, schedule, prioritise, and allocate workload using internal systems.
*Ensure calls are closed within SLA and follow up where required.
*Liaise with customers regarding permits and approvals (e.g., hot works, PPMs, working at heights).
*Organise maintenance and additional service jobs efficiently.
*Assist with generating reports, quotations, and invoices.
*Provide general administrative support and manage escalated customer queries.
Requirements:
*Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*Basic SAP knowledge is desirable.
*Strong written and spoken English.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
