Part-Time Payroll Administrator – Flexible Hours

About the role
This position offers flexible, part-time hours that can be adjusted to suit the successful candidate. You will join a busy and supportive payroll team, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working with modern payroll systems.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing payroll from start to finish in a timely and accurate manner
*Creating and maintaining payroll records
*Calculating part months and holiday pay
*Managing statutory payments
*Processing P45s and other payroll documentation
*Liaising with clients and resolving payroll queries
*Managing client pension schemes across multiple pension providers
*Uploading pension data and assisting with pension administration
*Supporting the team to ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met

What we are looking for

The ideal Part-Time Payroll Administrator will be confident, organised and detail focused, with previous payroll experience gained within a Practice or Bureau environment.

Essential skills and experience include:
*Previous experience working in a payroll function
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Competent user of Microsoft Excel
*Strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients
*Ability to work methodically and stay organised
*Comfortable using payroll and IT systems
*Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
*Able to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
