Reed Education is supporting a well-established, high-performing secondary school in the Rural Wealden area as they seek an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science Department on a fixed-term maternity cover from September 2026 to January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and rigorous Chemistry teaching up to Key Stage 4, within a supportive and ambitious department dedicated to securing excellent outcomes for all learners.
About the Role
*Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Plan and deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons
*Assess, track, and support student progress
*Contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking Science team
About You
*A strong graduate in Chemistry or a related discipline and/or strong Chemistry A-levels
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
*The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
*Strong organisational and communication skills
