A world-leading organisation in precision motion capture and advanced tracking systems is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join their highly skilled development team. What You’ll Be Doing*Designing electronics for a range of high-performance hardware products, including high-speed cameras, calibration tools, and specialised synchronisation/networking equipment
*Collaborating closely with electronic, mechanical, and software engineers to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions
*Ensuring designs meet regulatory compliance and include strong DFM/DFT test coverage
*Being involved throughout the full product lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through to post-release manufacturing support
What We’re Looking For*Strong experience in high-speed digital electronic design
*Solid working knowledge of analogue circuits
*Background in developing hardware for manufacture with focus on Design for Manufacture/Test
*Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, plus relevant industry experience
*Someone confident, collaborative, and self-motivated — a great fit for a small, expert engineering team
Bonus skills (not essential but a big advantage):
* VHDL/FPGA experience, image sensors, optics, Li-ion batteries, Ethernet, RF design.
