HR Business Partner
Full time role - 37.5 hours per week

A leading international organisation in Cambridge is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead its HR function and provide strategic and operational support to employees and senior leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HRBP or HR Manager who is looking for a role where they can truly influence culture, practice, and performance.

As the sites’ most senior onsite HR professional, the HR Business Partner will act as a trusted adviser to the Head of the organisation, SLT, and middle managers—balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery across all areas of HR. With a dotted line into the HR Director at the Head office also based in Cambridge, you will have the support of a wider HR team.


Key Responsibilities
*Support the Group HR Director in implementing the Group HR Strategy
*Develop and deliver a forward-thinking a site HR strategy aligned with organisations’ objectives.
*Provide expert advice on employee relations, employment law, and best practice.
*Partner on recruitment, safer hiring processes, and staff onboarding.
*Oversee performance management, talent development, and management training.
*Manage monthly payroll checks, pay review processes, and HR budget planning / workforce planning.
*Drive HR projects and organisational change initiatives.
*Promote staff wellbeing, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.

About You
*Experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager, ideally within schools or education (nice to have)
*CIPD Level 5 (minimum) with strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
*Confident advising senior leaders and managing complex casework.
*Skilled in organisational change, HR projects, and developing managers.
*Excellent communication, analytical and relationship-building skills.
*Able to work independently, balancing strategic and operational priorities.
