Job Description:
Facilities Maintenance Engineer
*Annual Salary: £37,500
*Location: Ruabon, Wrexham
*Job Type: Full-time
Join a leading manufacturing facility in Europe as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer. This role is crucial for managing and implementing maintenance projects across various departments, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide electrical and mechanical support across different departments.
*Conduct electrical installations and mechanical maintenance, adhering to the company’s Safe System of Work and Isolation Policy.
*Manage general facility maintenance and service improvements, including sourcing and managing contractors for various projects.
*Maintain a flexible approach to support Production and Moulding Operations daily.
*Make minor adjustments to PLC programming to enhance production efficiency.
*Implement energy-saving improvements and initiatives.
*Adhere to a TPM schedule and address Production system breakdowns, including maintenance of automation equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
*Qualified as per the 18th Edition of the IEE regulations.
*Experience in managing small building projects, such as plumbing and heating systems.
*Motivated to continually improve knowledge and skills.
*Creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
*Well-organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage renovation and repair projects.
*Effective communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
*Ability to work well in a team, dedicated, tenacious, and quick to learn new concepts.
