Job Description:
Diagnostic Technician Salary: Up to £38,000 basic + £50,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (1 in 4 Saturdays on rota, paid as overtime)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join a well-established, forward-thinking dealership group. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology in a supportive environment that values technical excellence and offers genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities * Carry out advanced diagnostic work and complex repairs
* Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
* Support and guide junior technicians with technical queries
* Perform vehicle health checks and ensure all documentation is accurate
* Maintain high workshop standards and promote a positive team culture
About You * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern diagnostic tools
* Confident working independently and supporting others when required
* Committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
* Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer * Up to £38,000 basic salary
* £50,000 OTE (including overtime and performance bonuses)
* Monday-Friday working hours (occasional Saturday on rota)
