Part-Time Management Accountant
(Job Share - 2 Days per Week, Thurs & Fri)

Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 per annum FTE
Reed Accountancy Oxford are delighted to be working with a fantastic client of ours, who are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their Finance & Admin team on a job-share basis. This remote, permanent role focuses on accurate revenue accounting, month-end reporting, and supporting the wider finance function with timely and insightful financial information.

Key Responsibilities
*Prepare flash report inputs and explain revenue variances to forecast.
*Raise accurate customer invoices throughout the month and complete UK revenue figures at month end.
*Analyse unbilled and deferred revenues to ensure correct accounting recognition.
*Match direct costs with revenue recognition accurately.
*Produce rolling monthly forecasts across multiple revenue streams and product groups, working closely with Revenue Managers.
*Provide regular input into the cashflow forecast, particularly around expected sales receipts.
*Prepare monthly debtor and creditor reports for the Management Information Pack.
*Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue and cost prepayment schedules.
*Support credit control activities by chasing overdue debt directly or via Account Managers, escalating when necessary.
*Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, management accounting tasks, and general finance projects.
*Occasional travel to the Oxford office required, especially during training.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
*AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent).
*Experience using Great Plains accounting software.
*Strong Excel skills.
*Experience in raising sales invoices and carrying out credit control.
*Previous experience in an accounts-based role.
*Knowledge of audit processes.
*Understanding of accrued and deferred income.
Desirable
*Excellent communication skills.
*Recent hands-on Accounts Receivable experience.
