The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the dedicated team at our purpose-built Residential Care Home in Fareham. The home provides both permanent residential care and short-term respite care, with a separate specialist dementia unit supporting residents with dignity, happiness, and individuality at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, mentor, and support the night care team
*Deliver high-quality, person-centred dementia and residential care
*Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes
*Administer medication (training provided if required)
*Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date care records
*Promote a calm, safe, and supportive night-time environment
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home
*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
*Medication training (advantageous but not essential)
*A caring, professional, and team-focused approach
*A genuine passion for supporting older people to live fulfilling lives
