Vehicle Technician - Poole - £34,000 + Bonus

Bond Williams are working with a client in Poole to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. This role is a key part of the workshop team, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer satisfaction by completing work efficiently, safely and to manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities

*Carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles.
*Accurately diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the appropriate equipment.
*Completing job cards and documentation with all relevant information recorded.
*Road testing vehicles where required to confirm faults and ensure repairs are completed successfully.
*Identifying additional service or repair requirements and reporting them to the service team.
*Ensuring all labour, parts and consumables are correctly recorded.
*Working collaboratively with workshop colleagues to maintain efficiency and high standards.
*Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety requirements.

Requirements
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
*Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
*Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
*Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
*Good teamwork and communication skills.
*A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and development.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Experience working within a franchised dealership environment is advantageous.
