Orka Financial is recruiting for a Junior Management Accountant to join their clients growing Finance team based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting tasks while developing your career towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
You’ll play a key role in supporting daily finance operations and contributing to the smooth running of the team.
*Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting activities and transactions.
*Manage and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
*Reconcile bank accounts, cashbooks, and petty cash.
*File and maintain supplier and financial records in an organised manner.
*Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, including fixed assets, depreciation, overheads, accruals, and prepayments.
*Provide ad hoc support to the team and assist in ongoing projects.
Experience *A recent Finance or Accounting graduate, or someone with relevant experience looking to start a career in finance.
*Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Eager to develop professionally and work towards ACCA or CIMA qualification.
Salary £25,000 + bonus + hybrid working model + study support
