Job Description:
Are you a creative designer looking for a new challenger and opportunity? Our client is seeking for a talented Designer to join a fast-growing, innovative team where your ideas will be transformed into stunning collections seen by thousands of customers. This is a hands-on, in-house role offering the opportunity to influence seasonal designs, contribute to brand strategy, and work across a wide range of creative projects.
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to define design briefs, drawing on previous collections’ performance and market insights.
• Conduct in-depth trend research, identifying emerging materials, finishes, and consumer demands to shape future collections.
• Transform concepts from sketches to CAD designs and fully specified production-ready artwork, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, components, and finishes.
• Present ideas, concepts, and prototypes confidently to internal teams, clients, and brand partners.
• Oversee prototype development, liaising with overseas factories to ensure designs meet brand, quality, and production standards.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, supporting skill development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Design product packaging, point-of-sale displays, literature, and instruction manuals that complement the product and maintain brand consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and aligned with the brand DNA.
What we’re looking for:
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, with Illustrator as your primary design tool; Photoshop and InDesign are also essential.
• Experience in jewellery, watches, or accessory design highly desirable.
• CAD proficiency (Adobe Illustrator preferred); knowledge of Solidworks advantageous.
• Ability to interpret trends and translate them into cohesive, market-ready collections with a clear brand identity.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a strong visual eye.
• Confident presenting ideas, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects within tight timelines.
This role is perfect for a designer eager to grow their career, work in a creative, hands-on environment, and see their designs come to life on the shelves. If you’re ready to make your mark in the creative world, we want to hear from you!
