We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment, with two shifts available: 05:30 - 14:00 and 10:30 - 19:00. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, helping to ensure production runs efficiently and safely.
Skills / Duties
*Carry out reactive, preventative, and corrective maintenance across machinery and plant equipment
*Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
*Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects
*Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures
*Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food industry standards
Qualifications / Experience
*Proven experience in multi-skilled maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably food production
*Strong mechanical, electrical, and fault-finding skills
*Experience with PLCs, conveyors, packaging machinery, and production line equipment is advantageous
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
