Civil Infrastructure Engineer - Glasgow
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Glasgow. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and public realm improvements. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable infrastructure solutions for both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities of this Civil Engineer role:
*Design and deliver civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
*Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports
*Undertake drainage design and highway design using industry-standard software
*Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
*Support project planning, cost estimation, and programme management
*Ensure projects comply with relevant UK standards and regulations
*Provide technical support to junior engineers and technicians where required
Requirements of this Civil Engineer role:
*Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
*2-5+ years’ experience in civil or infrastructure engineering
*Working knowledge of infrastructure design software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar)
*Strong understanding of UK design standards and regulations
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Progress toward chartership (ICE or similar) is desirable
