A well established food manufacturing business based in Park Royal is looking for an experienced Finance Support professional to help stabilise and strengthen its finance function. This is a part time opportunity working 2 days per week and would suit someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and strong financial discipline into a growing environment.


The role will focus on improving processes, ensuring financial data accuracy and supporting leadership with reliable reporting and insight. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to help build simple, effective finance processes and ensure the finance function supports the wider business.


Responsibilities will include
• Reviewing the current finance environment, processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
• Implementing simple and robust processes that improve accuracy without adding unnecessary complexity
• Supporting the finance team and helping establish clear expectations, structure and pace
• Strengthening financial controls, governance and reporting discipline
• Helping establish a reliable month end close process and accurate management information
• Ensuring operational costing models and product margins are reliable and aligned with UK GAAP
• Preparing, reviewing and assessing business plans and forecasts
• Reporting on KPIs, performance drivers and commercial risks across the business
• Supporting Directors with high quality financial reporting and insight
• Helping develop clear KPIs and dashboards to support decision making
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
• Supporting finance in becoming a proactive partner to operational and commercial teams


This role would suit an experienced finance professional with strong financial reporting, process improvement and business partnering skills who is comfortable working in a hands on environment. Potential to go permanent for the right individual.
