HR People Coordinator


Location: Cardiff
Salary: £15.38 - £15.93 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 35hrs per week
Contract: 12 weeks +

Yolk Recruitment is proud to be working with a large professional services organisation on their search for a temporary HR People Coordinator to support their busy HR team in Cardiff.


What you’ll be doing


The successful HR People Coordinator will oversee:


*Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and processes.
*Manage the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters and contracts, creating system records, and coordinating equipment and account setup.
*Coordinate employee departures, ensuring accurate records and communication with payroll where required.
*Prepare documentation for contractual changes such as role changes, promotions, working hours, or location updates.
*Provide support and guidance on payroll-related queries and assist with regular payroll reconciliations.
*Maintain and update the HR information system, ensuring employee data (salary, benefits, personal details, etc.) is accurate and up to date.
*Ensure pre-employment screening and right-to-work checks are completed in line with statutory requirements, escalating any issues when necessary.
*Support HR operations by maintaining accurate staff records, auditing HR data, and contributing to process improvements and team support during busy periods.Top of FormBottom of Form


Essential Requirements
The successful HR People Coordinator will need:
*Demonstrable attention to detail, client and customer service skills
*HR systems experience
*Experience working in professional services
*CIPD L3 qualified and/or working towards L5
