Job Description:
Warehouse Operative
We are working with a well-established organisation that is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Crawley. This is a permanent role.
The Role:
You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring stock is picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Responsibilities will include:
*Picking and packaging stock for customer orders, ensuring suitability for transport.
*Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stock queries.
*Loading and unloading shipments for dispatch.
*Supporting booking in deliveries and unloading goods.
*Checking, labelling, and repackaging products for storage.
*Entering stock accurately into the system and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment.
*Providing occasional support to the delivery driver when required.
About You:
*Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or pick & pack is desirable.
*Forklift licence (reach and/or counterbalance) is an advantage - training provided if needed.
*Strong numeracy, literacy, and data entry skills.
*A team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
*Full UK driving licence desirable.
Package & Benefits:
*£26,350 basic salary per annum.
*Profit share scheme after probation.
*20 days holiday (increasing with service) + birthday day off + holiday purchase scheme.
*Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 18:00.
