Administrative Support Specialist needed!!!!
Location: Southside Glasgow
Job Type: Full-time permanent Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 DOE
Start date: Aimed for Monday 16th or Monday 23rd March.


We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team.

This role involves providing high-quality administrative support, building professional relationships, and promoting their brand in the Construction Market.

The ideal candidate will have experience in office management systems, and a proven track record of enhancing company performance through effective administrative practices. Preference would be (However not essential) to candidates who have worked in either of these sectors as an Administrator/Sales Administrator
*Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, FMCG, Transport, Logistics
Day-to-day of the role:
*Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and handle incoming calls, directing them appropriately and taking messages as needed.
*Maintain and update the project filing system, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
*Prepare and manage boardroom setups for meetings and maintain the Sign In/Out Register for all staff and visitors.
*Issue purchase orders, complete credit account application forms, and ensure sufficient stock of office supplies and PPE.
*Assist in the preparation and updating of O&M Manuals upon project completion.
*Support various departments with administrative tasks and ensure compliance with company procedures and quality assurance standards.
*Report and arrange maintenance issues and act as a secondary contact for IT support and telecoms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an administrative role within a construction or related industry.
*Familiarity with office management systems.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
*Ability to assist in the development and implementation of new systems and procedures.
*Commitment to promoting the company’s name and maintaining brand consistency.
