The Role
*Location: Sefton
*Hours: Full-time, long term
*Start: Required immediately (ASAP)
Core Professional Duties You will be expected to:
*Plan and Deliver: Create and teach compelling lessons, using advanced differentiation techniques.
*Use both formal and ongoing methods to assess student learning and analyse performance data.
*Expertly adjust learning materials for full student accessibility.
*Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
*Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting.
Essential Requirements Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non-negotiable.
*Proven, successful experience teaching a range of SEN within the UK school system.
*Comprehensive understanding of SEN policy, intervention strategies, and best practice.
*Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership.
*Must hold a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to obtain one immediately.
Preferential: Relevant specialist SEN training or significant background supporting students with profound learning challenges is a strong advantage.
