SEN Teacher in Sefton. Randstad Education is seeking a highly capable and committed SEN Teacher for a crucial, long-term role. The Position at a Glance
*Location: Sefton
*Contract: Full-time, Long-term
*Availability: Immediate Start (ASAP)
Responsibilities:
*Designing and teaching engaging lessons that are effectively differentiated for individual student requirements.
*Conducting ongoing assessments and using data to track and guide student progress.
*Modifying curriculum materials to ensure full accessibility for all learners.
*Working seamlessly with support staff, parents, and external professional services.
*Maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
Essential Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is absolutely essential.
*Proven history teaching students with diverse Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a recognised UK school environment.
*Deep knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice, effective intervention strategies, and advanced pedagogical techniques.
*Exceptional resilience, adaptability, proactive work ethic, and strong classroom management skills.
*A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required, or the immediate willingness to secure one.
Highly Desired: A relevant specialist SEN qualification or significant experience supporting pupils with complex or profound learning difficulties.
