Job Description:
*Act as deputy to the Head of People Advice and lead the team in their absence
*Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and capability
*Advise on high-risk matters such as whistleblowing, settlement agreements, TUPE, redundancy, and tribunal preparation
*Oversee the People Advice phone line, inbox, and business change requests
*Build strong relationships with managers and leaders across the business
*Analyse ER data to identify trends and support proactive interventions
*Mentor People Advisors and support onboarding
*Deliver ER training and contribute to policy development
What You’ll Bring
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
*Significant ER experience in a complex, fast-paced organisation
*Experience in a unionised environment
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law
*Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
*High emotional intelligence and sound judgement
