Accounts Assistant / Training Accountant – Accountancy Practice
A friendly and growing independent accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Training Accountant or Accounts Assistant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accountancy career who is looking to gain hands-on experience within a supportive practice environment.
Working alongside experienced accountants, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting work while developing your technical skills and client knowledge.
The role

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts

• Supporting the team with bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Assisting with VAT returns and financial records

• Working with senior staff on client assignments

• Maintaining accurate financial data and supporting compliance work
About you

• Some experience within an accountancy practice (preferred but not essential)

• AAT studying or looking to begin professional studies (beneficial)

• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
