Buyer – Harrogate - £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a global leading manufacturing business based in Harrogate, who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team.
This standalone key role will see you have full ownership of sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships/performance and supporting new project activity across the site.

Working Hours / Benefits:
*5 hours per week with flexible working hours and a 1pm finish every Friday
*10% annual bonus based on individual and site performance

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead sourcing activity for new components and projects, including supplier selection and quotation analysis
*Obtain competitive tenders and negotiate pricing for plant purchasing requirements
*Raise and manage purchase orders and supplier contracts through the purchasing system
*Work closely with the quality team when introducing new materials and suppliers
*Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery and drive improvements
*Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting cost reduction initiatives


The Person
*Previous experience within a similar procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
*Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
*Experience sourcing components or materials and managing tenders
*Good analytical skills and experience working with purchasing data or ERP systems
