We are hiring multiple Learning Support Assistants!
Due to growth in our Inclusion department, a welcoming secondary school in Surrey is looking for several passionate LSAs to join their team. These are full-time, permanent positions starting immediately.
You will work across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students with a range of needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and SpLD. Whether you are an experienced TA or looking to start your career in education, we want to hear from you.
About You:
Experience: Experience working with students with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs (e.g., in a PRU, alternative provision, or youth justice setting) is highly advantageous.
Training: Team Teach or positive handling training is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
Core Skills: The ability to de-escalate situations calmly and confidently.
Resilience: You will need a thick skin, a sense of humour, and the ability to build trust with students who find school difficult.
