Production Compounder – PM Shift
Job Purpose
To accurately weigh and prepare synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils and powdered materials according to specified formulations. All tasks must be completed in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines. The role requires strong teamwork, clear communication with other departments, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
*Verify all tank and container labels against accompanying paperwork to ensure full accuracy.
*Maintain clean, organised, and hygienic equipment at all times.
*Compound raw materials strictly according to the given formulation.
*Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when selecting raw materials.
*Ensure all completed batches are correctly combined, check-weighed, and prepared for packing.
*Complete handover or end-of-shift documentation when a job cannot be finished.
*Report any errors, spills, or issues immediately.
*Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures without exception.
*Carry out any other tasks required as part of the daily production workflow.
Skills & Attributes Required
*Enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player.
*Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
*Good IT literacy.
*Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (desirable).
*Strong numeracy and clear communication skills.
*High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
*Effective time management.
*FLT (Forklift Truck) licence (desirable).
