Job Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Human Resources Manager to join their highly collaborative team.
This is a permanent role in their London office, with full involvement in key HR projects and initiatives, offering great exposure and the opportunity to contribute to the HR strategy and overall business objectives. The successful HR Manager will enjoy a generalist role, with an additional focus on Benefits, Wellness, Compensation, Payroll, and Budgets, as well as partnering with assigned practice groups and business support groups across London and Europe.
Responsibilities will include:
*Supervising, coaching, and mentoring the UK HR team.
*Working with key stakeholders as required on HR strategies.
*Continually reviewing HR processes and making recommendations for improvements.
*Maintaining a detailed knowledge of HR issues.
*Ensuring the team operate cohesively.
*Responding to all HR queries in allocated practice group.
*Reviewing HR processes and recommending improvements.
*Researching HR policy developments.
*Communicating with US HR teams to ensure consistent global strategy where possible.
*Overseeing UK benefits administration.
*Conducting benefits orientation and following up to ensure individuals have opted into schemes.
*Maintaining and developing data Workday and ensuring firm communications and forms are maintained.
*Leading and attending meetings with HR vendors.
*Working along the wellness team to assist with coordination of vaccinations, wellness events, and mental health awareness initiatives.
*Ensuring compensation surveys are completed and data is uploaded.
*Overseeing drafts of salary review letters to ensure they are fit for distribution.
*Working with the wider HR systems team to produce management reports.
The firm are offering a competitive salary & benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Suitable candidates will have gained prior HR management experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking CIPD qualified applicants with exemplary interpersonal, communication, strategic thinking, and organisation skills. Demonstrated experience with administering pensions and benefits, managing mental health and wellbeing programs, and Workday are highly desired.
