We are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join a busy delivery team for our Client. This role involves supporting the delivery of high-quality furniture directly to customers’ homes while ensuring a positive and professional customer experience. This is a hands-on position that requires teamwork, communication skills, and a professional attitude when interacting with customers in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
*Assist the driver with multi-drop deliveries across the region.

*Safely deliver furniture to customers’ homes following their chosen delivery method.

*Support loading and unloading of furniture at the warehouse and customer locations.

*Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure safe handling and delivery of products.

*Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and act as a professional representative on-site.

*Assist with product returns where required and support safe vehicle manoeuvring when necessary.

*Use delivery systems and complete required delivery checks.

Skills & Experience
*Good understanding of health and safety practices.

*Ability to safely handle and manoeuvre furniture.

*Strong communication and customer service skills.

*Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture safely.

*Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team.

*Positive attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
