Head of New Business Sales - UKI | Manchester City Centre | On-site
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a high-performing, commercially driven Head of New Business Sales to lead and scale a Business Development function within a fast-paced, high-velocity SaaS sales environment.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you’ll take full ownership of new business performance, leading from the front while developing senior sales managers and BDMs to consistently exceed targets. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on pace, accountability and results.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Lead, inspire and performance-manage BDMs and Salesfloor Managers
*Drive UK new business revenue across HR, H&S & Payroll SaaS solutions
*Own monthly and quarterly KPIs, forecasting and pipeline health
*Embed a coaching-led, high-performance sales culture
*Lead by example across the full sales cycle - from qualification to close
*Ensure FCA compliance and operational excellence across the sales floor
*Partner with Sales Ops, WFM, Training and Data teams to maximise productivity
*Influence sales strategy and represent the function at senior leadership level
What We’re Looking For
*Proven senior sales leadership experience in high-volume, call-centre or inside sales environments
*Strong background in B2B SaaS or solution-led sales
*Demonstrable success managing large sales teams and management layers
*Highly commercial, data-driven and comfortable owning big numbers
*Confident leading under pressure, managing performance and difficult conversations
*Inspirational leader who coaches, develops and sets the standard
