Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing local business for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail focused Accounts Payable Clerk who enjoys working in a busy finance environment where accuracy and organisation are key. As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the finance department with the day to day management of the purchase ledger.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will join a supportive finance team and play an important role in ensuring the purchase ledger function runs smoothly. This Accounts Payable Clerk role would suit someone who already has experience within accounts payable or purchase ledger and is looking to further develop their career within a stable and professional business.

Accounts Payable Clerk - The Role
• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Coding and posting invoices onto the accounts system
• Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Liaising with suppliers to handle queries and maintain strong working relationships
• Monitoring the purchase ledger inbox and responding to queries in a timely manner
• Assisting with month end processes and reporting where required
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks


Accounts Payable Clerk - About You
• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk or Purchase Ledger Clerk role
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
• Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues
• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
