Job Description:
We are supporting a healthcare provider that delivers key services on behalf of the NHS and Public Health including stop smoking and sexual health. Due to the current postholder’s retirement, they are seeking a Head of Service to lead operational delivery and management of their sexual health service.
Key Details
*Leadership role within a team of around 30 people
*Postholder will work alongside a senior nurse who now oversees clinical duties
*Focus on general management service performance and operational leadership
What Our Client Is Looking For
*Background in the health sector is essential
*NHS experience highly desirable
*Strong operational leadership with the ability to manage teams effectively
*Skilled in building and maintaining commissioner relationships
*Confident leading services through CQC preparation
*Experience supporting improvement work and ready to contribute to a new tender later this year
*Sexual health experience useful but not mandatory
