Site Manager – Full Time
Salary:£39,359.00 – £44,157.00 Annually (Actual)
Location: Two-site operation (must be able to travel between sites)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
A large, busy, multi-site organisation is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the safety, maintenance, security and operational support of two neighbouring campuses. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong practical ability, and confidence working with digital systems.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for staff, visitors and the wider community. Professionalism, reliability and a positive, collaborative approach are essential.
Important:
*A full UK driving licence is required – the role involves travel between sites and responsibility for site vehicles.
*Strong IT literacy is essential – the role includes managing digital systems and supporting IT-related infrastructure tasks.
Main Purpose of the Role
To take overall responsibility for building compliance, site maintenance, security, IT-related operational duties, and the supervision of support staff across two sites.
Key Responsibilities
Building Compliance & Maintenance
*Oversee all statutory compliance including health & safety, fire safety and building regulations.
*Plan and coordinate inspections, servicing and maintenance across both sites.
*Keep accurate digital records of all compliance and maintenance activity.
*Carry out practical repairs efficiently to maintain a safe, clean and functional environment.
Security Management
*Manage access control, alarm systems, CCTV and all security protocols.
*Respond swiftly to incidents or breaches, engaging external services if necessary.
*Ensure all security measures align with safeguarding and safety expectations.
Site & IT Fault Reporting
*Administer the digital fault-reporting system, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised and resolved promptly.
*Allocate tasks and oversee the daily work of the Site Assistant and IT Technician.
*Liaise with contractors and suppliers for specialist works.
Health & Safety Leadership
*Support the Facilities Manager with statutory compliance and safe working practices.
*Act as a key contact for risk assessments and emergency procedures.
*Promote a positive safety culture across both sites.
Operational Support & Collaboration
*Prepare facilities and resources for events and operational activities.
*Drive and maintain site vehicles, including minibuses.
*Work collaboratively with leadership and staff to ensure site operations support organisational needs.
*Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and a positive approach in all interactions.
Additional Duties
*Complete a weekly 30-minute duty.
*Provide occasional out-of-hours availability for urgent site or security issues.
*Undertake reasonable additional tasks in line with the role.
