Job Description:
Teaching Assistant – Runcorn
Location: Runcorn
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Position: Full-Time / Long-Term
Hours: Monday–Friday
We are currently seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Runcorn area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and supporting teachers in creating an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson delivery
*Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils who may need extra help
*Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials
*Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
*Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with children (school-based experience preferred but not essential)
*A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
*Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
*A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
*Relevant qualifications are desirable but not mandatory
