About the Role
Surecall Education is currently recruiting EYFS Teaching Assistants to support Nurseries and Primary Schools across Luton and the wider Bedfordshire area. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility for candidates seeking regular work or a better work-life balance.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting young children in their early learning and development, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) activities
* Assist with play-based learning, phonics, and early development activities
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to children when needed
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
* Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
* Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS, nursery, or primary school setting
* A passionate, caring, and patient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to support children’s development
* Relevant qualifications or childcare experience are desirable but not essential
