Accomplish Today are seeking a proactive and professional Key Account Executive to support the management and growth of recruitment agency accounts within the contractor services and umbrella payroll sector. This role is focused on relationship management, account growth, and business development, working alongside a Key Account Manager to ensure agencies receive exceptional service and support. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates experienced in recruitment agency liaison, umbrella payroll, contractor services, or B2B account management.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Relationship Growth
*Support the Key Account Manager (KAM) in maintaining and developing key agency accounts
*Build and strengthen relationships with recruitment agencies to increase referrals and enquiries
*Act as a primary contact for agencies, addressing queries and ensuring high service standards
*Conduct regular follow-ups with consultants to identify new opportunities and provide guidance
*Support KAM in achieving sales targets and objectives set by the Sales Director
*Identify and action cross-sell opportunities within accounts
*Maintain accurate Sales CRM records, including account profiles, consultant activity, and competitor insights
*Map accounts to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
New Business & Market Development
*Identify potential new recruitment agency clients within the territory
*Target specific vertical markets relevant to temporary contractors
*Collaborate with marketing to produce agency-specific documentation and communications
*Support online presence initiatives and social media engagement to promote the company’s contractor services
Compliance & Industry Knowledge
*Provide guidance on consultant legislation, IR35, and umbrella payroll compliance
*Attend occasional face-to-face agency visits and hospitality events
*Assist with agency merchandise, promotional materials, and training requirements
Sales Activity & Targets
*Make a minimum of 40 outbound calls per day or 2+ hours of daily talk time
*Manage a base of 200 recruitment agency accounts
*Aim to grow your patch to 100 first paid placements per month
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a results-driven, organised, and client-focused professional with experience in sales support, account management, and recruitment agency liaison.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Minimum 1 years experience in umbrella payroll, contractor services, or recruitment agency sales
*Proven ability to maintain and grow key accounts
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confident in engaging consultants, agency managers, and stakeholders
Desirable Skills & Experience:
*Experience balancing sales and account management responsibilities
*Success in meeting/exceeding daily call or outreach targets (50+ calls/day)
*Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work independently
*Proficiency in Sales CRM systems
*Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Location & Working Arrangements
*Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)
*Office-based – 5 days per week
*Some travel required for agency visits
