Job Description:
Our client, a well-regarded independent school in Cambridge, is looking for an Operations Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main duties include:
*Help run school events, including planning, staffing, and logistics
*Support projects to improve the school’s facilities and spaces
*Work with maintenance and IT teams to keep operations running smoothly
*Track small building and repair projects and report progress
*Manage contractors and ensure residential property checks are done
*Oversee school transport and external providers, ensuring safety and compliance
*Help maintain site security and support emergency planning
*Support sustainability efforts, including monitoring energy use
The successful candidate:
*Experience in operations, facilities, or project support
*Well-organised and able to handle multiple tasks
*Good communication skills, written and verbal
*Confident liaising with teams and external suppliers
*Professional, proactive, and reliable
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office
