If you are a psychology graduate, or have a background in education, sports, art or drama, then this is the kind of role that you will succeed in!
Your duties as a Mental Health Assistant:
*Support the students with their needs in the classroom
*Help them find healthy and positive ways to cope with their emotions
*Teach them ways to regulate their emotions
*Help them reach their academic and personal goals
*De-escalate any behaviour and redirect their attention
*Facilitate and help deliver any interventions designed to help the students flourish
*Support the students during their work day
The successful Mental Health Assistant:
