Are you passionate about supporting young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health?
A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Reading is looking for a compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school supports children aged 5 to 16 who experience a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related behaviours, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional emotional support both inside and outside the classroom. You will help pupils develop coping strategies, build positive relationships, and engage in their learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists, you will play an important role in supporting students’ behaviour, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.

* Location: Reading
* Salary: £89 - £100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or Education graduates
