Business Development Manager – PAYE Umbrella Solution

Accomplish Today are recruiting for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a growing umbrella payroll provider with an established presence in the medical and healthcare recruitment sector. The business has built a strong reputation supporting healthcare recruitment agencies with compliant PAYE umbrella payroll solutions and is now entering an exciting phase of growth as it expands into the CIS contractor payroll market.
This role is 100% focused on new business development, targeting recruitment agencies that require reliable umbrella payroll and CIS solutions for their contractor workforce. For the right person, this is a genuine opportunity to join early, shape the growth of the business and play a key role in building something special.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new recruitment agency clients requiring umbrella payroll and CIS contractor payment solutions.
You will build relationships with recruitment agencies across a range of sectors while helping to expand the company’s presence beyond its strong medical recruitment client base.
This is a pure sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and developing long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
*Identify and target recruitment agencies requiring umbrella payroll or CIS contractor payment solutions
*Generate new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking and referrals
*Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new client opportunities
Client Engagement
*Develop relationships with recruitment consultants, directors and agency owners
*Present PAYE umbrella and CIS payroll solutions tailored to client needs
*Manage the sales process from initial contact through to signed partnership
Market Growth
*Support the expansion of the business into the contractor payroll market
*Leverage the company’s reputation within healthcare recruitment while developing opportunities across other sectors
*Stay up to date with contractor legislation including IR35 and Joint and Several Liability (JSL)
About You
We are looking for an outgoing and commercially focused Business Development professional who enjoys building relationships and winning new business. You will be confident speaking with people at all levels and motivated by the opportunity to grow a client base and help scale a developing business.
You will ideally have:
*Experience in Business Development or B2B Sales
*Background in umbrella payroll, contractor services, CIS payroll or recruitment agency sales
*Knowledge of IR35, contractor payroll compliance or Joint and Several Liability (JSL) (desirable)
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive and target-driven mindset
