Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in a range of Specialist Schools across the Bradford area.
The Role
As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
* Work 1:1 or in small groups to help students access the curriculum
* Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
Requirements as a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience desirable)
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
